New Take Credit Jewelry on Etsy

Yesterday, I listed my new Take Credit jewelry on Etsy, some different styles than what I've made before. I once had a request for a bracelet made with smaller gift card pieces and finally decided it was time to make something a little different.

Here is my Mini Take Credit Bracelet in some of my favorite colors. The pink and aqua CVS gift cards I used for this bracelet had a picture of makeup, lipstick and nail polish, so they were fun cards to incorporate into my jewelry.

And here are the matching earrings.

My other new style is this bracelet with the pieces all linked together. This one is in my party bright colors. Kind of fun and very light weight.

Do you have any ideas for other gift card/credit card jewelry I should think about? Please let me know what you think I should try next!

And I'd love to have more fans for my fan page on Facebook. I have photo albums of some of my jewelry there and will be working to keep it much more up to date than I have in the past. Please take a look at my Facebook page here. Thanks!

My Jewelry to be Sold on Consignment!

Well, it’s been three weeks since my last post. I spent a few of those days skiing in Colorado, two days last week in Oklahoma for the start of our high school baseball season, and too many hours at work. Just not enough hours in the day to keep up with my blog lately.

But I have had some exciting news in the last three weeks. Through one of the Etsy forums, I was contacted by the manager of the Jersey City Museum gift shop, who asked if I’d be interested in selling my credit card jewelry on consignment there. We agreed on price and quantity and then I started thinking about where five bracelets and five pairs of earrings would come from. At first, I considered sending some of my inventory on Etsy, but then decided I would make new jewelry to send to New Jersey. My credit cards, gift cards, wire and tools made the trips with me to Colorado and Oklahoma. Yesterday, I finished up all my new jewelry and took it to the grocery store post office today, so that it will be on its way tomorrow.

Here are pictures of my newest jewelry. If you’re in the Jersey City area, stop in and have a look!

I've made some additional Take Credit jewelry to be listed on Etsy, also. I'm hoping to get it photographed and listed today.

Credit Card Earrings

A friend of mine is a big St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. A while back, she gave me some expired credit cards of hers that had the Cardinals logo on them. I made earrings out of them for her. Here are her finished earrings. Just in time for baseball season!
